Our Fire District is located in southern Saratoga County, New York. Covering approximately 20 square miles; we serve 1500 residences and 110 businesses. Bordered by Schenectady County-East Glenville FD to the south; in Saratoga County-Ballston Lake FD to the east; Charlton FD to the west and Harmony Corners & Ballston Spa Fire Departments to the north.

Ballston Lake Fire Department proudly protects 2000 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.

The department currently consists of approximately 50-55 EMS and Firefighting volunteer personnel. On an average we will respond to 600 calls per year, constantly upgrading our training for response to calls ranging from EMS, auto accidents, all types of fires, Haz Mat, to rope rescue and any other type of emergency as needed.
