Pricing

    Sunshine & Company works somewhat differently then other design agencies. As a freelance designer or web developer, during typical office hours you will find us working in large corporate environment. This means that we do our client work outside office hours, during evenings and over weekends.

    When design agencies calculate their costs of creating and putting up YOUR web site, their work is often marked-up by over 100%, which is then passed onto their client, with that client possibly being you. While we do understand that this is the nature of business, personally, we don't need to charge those inflated prices, mainly because of our low overhead and the fact that there's No Middleman.

That's only one benefit for working with Sunshine & Company.

    What about service? When you go to that fancy high-priced design agency, do you deal directly with the individual who is working on your website? You do, with Sunshine & Company. Should you ever need to make quick changes, I'm the man to see.

So, how about the prices?

Single page* Web, on bhblny.com's server:

     This single page can be useful for a small business to obtain an online presence without the expenses associated with a stand-alone site. 

     This single page will be custom designed to reflect the nature of your enterprise, and to promote your business in an attractive and effective manner. A single page, in this fashion, hosted on the BHBLNY.com server, with some Optimized Graphics, several external links to other sites, and one email form without a database. Java script, DHTML, Flash, and Rollovers are not included:

Page and Design $50.00.

     Hosting this single page on BHBLNY.com's server: $1.00/month, paid on a yearly basis. The address to such a page would be similar to: http://www.bhblny.com/your_business_name

     Email addresses are available at additional cost.

     Creation of, or recreation of a company logo is not included. Graphics and text must be supplied electronically, Word format preferrably.
     E-Commerce type of site is not available with this promotion.

A Five page* Website hosted on bhblny.com's server:

     This five-page site can be useful for a small business to obtain a somewhat more comprehensive online presence then a single page, while still circumventing the expenses associated with a stand-alone site.

     Your site will be custom designed to reflect the nature of your enterprise and to promote your business in an attractive and effective manner. A typical small business site of 5 pages will generally cost around $200.00.

     Hosting this five-page site on BHBLNY.com's server: $3.00/month, paid on a yearly basis. The address to such a page would be similar to: http://www.bhblny.com/your_business_name

Email addresses are available at additional cost.

     This package will include a Home page, along with four subsequent pages. Creation of, or recreation of a company logo is not included. Rollover buttons are included for in-site pages only. Graphics and text must be supplied electronically. E-Commerce type of site is not available with this promotion.

* A single page is defined as all the information that will fit on an 8½ x 11 sheet of paper, typed with a Font size of 10. This information must be supplied in electronic format, Microsoft Word is preferable.

So, how about the typical prices?

The following are Sunshine & Company's basic prices:

Sunshine & Company basic design cost - $250.00.

      This package will include the design concept, Home page, and four subsequent pages for your web site. Creation of, or recreation of a company logo not included. Rollover buttons are included for in site pages only. Graphics must be supplied electronically.

     This is assuming that you have a Domain name registered, and a server available, otherwise:

     If a server is not available, we can set your site up on our server. Costs for this will need to be discussed, but fees for your own server account can be less then $10.00 a month, paid annually. POP Email accounts can be set up in your dotcom name. We can do this for a fee of $5.00 per email account. Removing the email accounts will incur another $5.00 charge.

     Domain name registration $25.00 per year or $40.00 for the first two years.

• Additional pages - $50.00 each.
• Basic Flash entree' - $150.00. More complicated flash designs will be priced by quotation.
• Scanned photos -$5.00 each. (Photos sent to me via e-mail or on disk- no charge) Photos will be optimized at no additional cost. Restoration of photos will be priced by quotation.
• Java, Java script, PERL, CGI, MYSQL, and DHTML can be incorporated, but if we need to work on the code - to run on your site, you will be charge accordingly, priced by quotation.
• By quotation: Custom designed graphics and special programs.
• Frame pages available. This site was built with frames.
• Auto responders can be set up on the site by quotation.
• Shopping carts can be set up on site by quotation.
• Monthly maintenance, as well as occasional maintenance can be purchased; you guessed it, by quotation.
